Mi ricorda una scena di un film western, forse era Vamos a matar, companeros, dove per torturare una persona mettevano due talpe (o forse due ratti) in un sacchetto legato alla pancia del tizio immobilizzato. Nel sacchetto c'erano anche due carote. Uno chiedeva a cosa serviva e il tizio rispondeva che le talpe avrebbero mangiato le carote e poi, alla ricerca di cibo, avrebbero iniziato a scavare nella pancia del tipo.

A pensarci su credo sia una cazzata da film, però riflettendoci bene, se al posto delle talpe ci fossero ratti non mi pare così aliena la cosa. Voi che dite? Chi si offre di provare?

Piu' o meno anche in 1984.

Sophus Jacobsen (1833-1912) Venezia al chiaro di luna

Sophus Jacobsen è stato un pittore norvegese che si trasferì a Düsseldorf nel 1853.
La scuola ottocentesca di Düsseldorf è stata particolarmente fertile e punto di riferimento per i pittori nordici di ispirazione romantica. In particolare l'artista fu particolarmente influenzato dal tedesco Friedrich e dal norvegese Dahl.

Venezia è una delle città più amate dai pittori; qui è presentata al chiaro di luna e sullo sfondo si distingue il profilo di Santa Maria della Salute.

Quel che più mi colpisce di questo quadro è la presenza di riverberi argento e d'oro che convivono in maniera magica in una notte di luna piena.
L’argento è quello dei riflessi lunari, l’oro è quello dei riflessi dei fuochi e delle torce.

Un dipinto di buona fattura che si inserisce nel solco di suggestioni tardo romantiche.

Michelangelo aveva 13 anni quando lo dipinse.
Il Tormento di Sant'Antonio

Dipinto a tempera e olio su tavola (47x35 cm) proveniente dalla bottega di Domenico Ghirlandaio, e attribuito a un giovane Michelangelo Buonarroti, (si presume avesse solo 13 anni all'epoca).
Il dipinto è databile tra il 1487 e il 1489, ed è oggi conservato nel Kimbell Art Museum di Fort Worth, in Texas.
